Tel Aviv Tommy to the rescue
I'm going to stop listening to this Sheeran guy. I'm not going to start either.
Who cares about who either of these people are?
Robert Kraft is the name that everyone should be talking about
Music has always been political.
Tommy Ten Shekels has been mobilized
ed shareen audience isnt right wingers though, its mostly wine moms.
Same thing?
Good to hear that Ed can rely on the support of his best friend in these trying times.
I'm sure he will have a nice, open dialog with Tommy. Doesn't want to alienate anyone. Good people on both sides.
The story that keeps on giving.
In case anybody else is like me and has never heard of tommy robinson (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tommy_Robinson) :
Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon (né Yaxley; born 27 November 1982), better known as Tommy Robinson, is a British far-right, anti-Islam activist. Described as "one of [the] UK's most prominent far-right activists",[1] he co-founded the English Defence League (EDL), serving as its leader from 2009 to 2013.
Before the EDL, Robinson was a member of the British National Party (BNP), a British fascist political party, from 2004 to 2005. For a short time in 2012, he was joint vice-chairman of the British Freedom Party (BFP). In 2015, after leaving the EDL, he became involved with the development of Pegida UK, a now-defunct British chapter of the German Pegida. From 2017 to 2018, he wrote and appeared in videos on the Canadian website Rebel News. In 2018, he also served as a political advisor to Gerard Batten, then the leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP).
Robinson is also known for creating self-produced videos presented in a documentary format, on topics including the grooming gangs scandal. Some of these videos have been found in court to include defamatory false statements about their subjects.[2][3][4]
Robinson has criminal convictions[5] for assault,[6] threats,[7] harassment,[8] and fraud,[5] as well as contempt of court rulings relating to his videos, and served five prison terms between 2005 and 2025. In June 2022, Robinson said that he lost £100,000 in gambling before declaring bankruptcy in March 2021. He also said he owed an estimated £160,000 to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). In August 2024, The Times said that he owed in the region of £2 million to his creditors, and was the subject of a HMRC investigation over unpaid taxes.
I started reading an article somewhere about how he's getting funded and raking it in. He's a conman. I'm sure he's getting funded by Russia also given his recent visits there.
You know, the more I learn about that guy, the more I don't care for him.
The beauty of him hiding his real name is that all of his great mates who come to his rallies will be looking for Irish immigrants once they’re done with the brown ones.
Oh so he's a dickhole, got it.
I'm not a native speaker of American. Is a dick hole a cunt or an asshole?
Lol it's neither, it's own insult. I'm not even sure if it's meant to literally refer to the hole of a dick, but probably is. It's just one of many insults you can use to refer to someone you don't like.
Reminds me when the KKK endorsed trump.
I envy people who have never heard of that turd.
And now I've heard of him. God damnit.
I was unaware until five minutes ago.
Still insist you are not being political?
You might not be into politics, but politics sure is into you

Wait, it's all politics?
🌎👩🚀🔫👨🚀
You may not fuck with politics, but politics will fuck with you!
And Ed is like Helen Keller at an orgy. He has no idea who he's fucking with!
Ed Sheeran: "I'm not political."
Tommy Robinson: "You are now, mate. Hahaha."
Tommy robinson: so you say Nazis can sit at this bar...? How lovely
I heard Tommy R ties his shoes with little knot-zies.

Neutrality always sides with the aggressor...and the aggressors know this.
What a fucking loser
Hitler and Jack the Ripper have also came out in support for Ed Sheeran.

Rules:
-
Rule 1: posts have the following requirements:
- Post news articles only
- Video links are NOT articles and will be removed.
- Title must match the article headline
- Not United States Internal News
- Recent (Past 30 Days)
- Screenshots/links to other social media sites (Twitter/X/Facebook/Youtube/reddit, etc.) are explicitly forbidden, as are link shorteners.
-
Rule 2: Do not copy the entire article into your post. The key points in 1-2 paragraphs is allowed (even encouraged!), but large segments of articles posted in the body will result in the post being removed. If you have to stop and think "Is this fair use?", it probably isn't. Archive links, especially the ones created on link submission, are absolutely allowed but those that avoid paywalls are not.
-
Rule 3: Opinions articles, or Articles based on misinformation/propaganda may be removed.
-
Rule 4: Posts or comments that are homophobic, transphobic, racist, sexist, anti-religious, or ableist will be removed. “Ironic” prejudice is just prejudiced.
-
Posts and comments must abide by the lemmy.world terms of service UPDATED AS OF OCTOBER 19 2025
-
Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
-
Rule 6: Memes, spam, other low effort posting, reposts, misinformation, advocating violence, off-topic, trolling, offensive, regarding the moderators or meta in content may be removed at any time.
-
Rule 7: We didn't USED to need a rule about how many posts one could make in a day, then someone posted NINETEEN articles in a single day. Not comments, FULL ARTICLES. If you're posting more than say, 10 or so, consider going outside and touching grass. We reserve the right to limit over-posting so a single user does not dominate the front page.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.
