Someone remind me what Cuba is guilty of? Being Communist?
The US tried multiple times to invade and overthrow them seriously like 3 separate times.
Then Cuba decided to go for real straight up communist and nationalize all the industries so they took ownership of all the businesses the US had there and the US says they stole it (kind of did) and that's pretty much where it all started.
There's a missile crisis in there too and in fact that situation almost ended the world if it wasn't for a Russian admiral having some god damn sense and disobeying orders.
Thing is, the US is wrong for this shit though. They have fought against food and water and power for those people they have even made other countries not pay Cuban doctors when they go abroad to help people.
Like everything, the United States values money and property that makes more money over the lives of human beings.
I hope Cuba prospers in the end. And no, I'm not communist or a tankie I just think the US does some truly fucked up shit sometimes and Cuba is like one of the worst things its ever done and it continues to make it worse.
Yes and i have heard from a redditor that is enough for them to suffer.
Since they could just bend the knee to Lord Orange, but dont so they deserve this.
And since they have the choice, between tyranny and mass death, that is freedom.
Of course said redditor claimed to be an academic.

If you're posting more than say, 10 or so, consider going outside and touching grass. We reserve the right to limit over-posting so a single user does not dominate the front page.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.
