I know Australia's BHP.AX has poured billions into building a potash facility in Canada, not sure how it's going aside from a day late and a dollar short though, as is nearly always the case with projects this big.

Sure, but it seemed like he had some plan with his lying back in the beginning, some premeditation and some effort to build a story that can at least survive a couple of weeks. Recently his lies seem internally inconsistent, easy to debunk immediately, and just give him no benefit. Makes me think he doesn't even understand himself that they aren't true, it's just stream-of-consciousness wishful thinking.

More and more I am getting the feeling that the USA is being ruled by NatalieGPT, which goes like this: Trump whines about something like not having potash, Natalie queries an LLM where else has potash then tells Trump that he just made a stupendous trade deal there so he can post about it or share some more AI slop.
Canada should charge an additional 0.1% export tax on potash every time Trump says or posts something dumb. Probably would be over 100% before the midterms.
