That's an incredible shot!

They're hard fish to capture under the best circumstances, much less with so much vibrancy

Thank you, and you are right, they are a challenge, they aren't even that fast moving, but I swear every time I am about to hit the shutter they move just out of sight or behind a rock. It's like they know I am trying to capture their image! 😭

I had some decent luck with aquarium fish way back, but a pond fish? I couldn't even get things focused and framed fast enough to get anything but a blur. That was on film, So I gave up lol.

I really dig this one, I've come back to it a couple of times now. It feels "alive" in a way that's rare with any animal photos, much less fish. Thanks for sharing it
