Pretty embarrassing for Retroid tbh. Doesn’t really seem like something anyone should buy….
But I do have high hopes the lite plus(?) or the non-lite. Looks like it should be somewhere between the AYN Thor and the Thor Lite.
On the topic of the Duo Lite Plus, do you guys think the oled screens on the non-lite is worth the cost and bulk? I don’t think I need analog triggers on a device like that, and they look more likely to break when chucked in a bag. But if the screens are that much better, and more importantly less likely to blind me when playing in the dark, it probably would be worth it?
If you’re sold on OLED screens, it’s not much of a price jump to grab the full version. I’d start with that model, and then see if there’s any dealbreakers you can’t live with. Everything besides the Lite should be able to handle most 3DS games.
Yeah the only appeal of the Lite Plus is the flat back. But looks like the device is a bit too big to really be pocketable anyway, apart from maybe the short shuffle from the gate to the plane lol. But thanks for the input!
