That's pathetic. People who won't de-list things on request like that are scum.
Bro is a slop loving idiot. They have AI generate stuff for them and keeps asking it's a good idea or not all over Lemmy. No critical thinking skills at all, which is endemic to sloppers.
And this is precisely the sort of thing that sets apart community-run projects like the fediverse (!= Mastodon) apart from for-profit platforms like Twitter. The fediverse culture is based around consent and guarding each other's safety. That means that just because you can do something, that doesn't mean that people will accept you doing so.
And that is precisely what happened here. Someone started indexing all the posts of a group of largely vulnerable and marginalized folks, without asking for their consent, without trying to understand the community norms, just barging in and doing what they felt like without concern for the consequences to other people's safety.
They got swiftly ejected from the community accordingly.
If you truly believe that it's okay to index things just because "well, I can technically access it" without any further consideration, then to put it bluntly: you are a threat to the safety of marginalized folks, and you are not welcome in those spaces. You should also consider that there are plenty of people who cannot afford to take such a cavalier attitude as you.

When the game brakes, and you end up spending a ton of money on maintenance, people will quickly realise that it isn’t such a fun little project after all.
No one slopping up a GTA clone is gonna be maintaining it. They would just slop up a new one.
Slop is a verb now. 😄 English is just so amazing. Basically, anything can become a verb.
Anyway, so when you slop up a piece of software, it becomes abandonware immediately.

Whereas I'll just play the 3 latest Saints Row games again. I mean The Third, IV Re-Elected, and Gat Out of Hell. We don't talk about the shitty reboot. What started as a GTA clone for Xbox (when GTA was PlayStation-exclusive) surpassed GTA (at least, IMO) with its third entry and beyond. I'm not sure the Saints Row games I like are better than Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, but I will say they're better than any GTA since. (And they're more fun than San Andreas, and that counts for something.)
