Wheres can I buy a decent amount/deal for yerba matte? (lemmy.world)

I've had this yerba matte energy drink from the organic section a few times and I've enjoyed it a lot each time.

Is yerba matte a tea or whats its dealio?

It's a special type of green tea common in South America if I remember correctly? I can't say I've seen it in the stores around me, but I also can't say I've looked for it...

Take all this information with a grain of salt, because I did not bother to look it up.

You should be able to get it loose leaf. There's a special strainer straw that's typically used to drink after pouring boiling water over the loose leaf.
