Staying socially relevant after nearly 30 years is insane. It also helps that this episode felt like a return to form, before the pandemic and Tegridy Farms.
I actually really liked the Tegridy Farms arc... Anytime we see Randy just double down on his bullshit makes me laugh.

I like how stilted the opening song is to jam in the extra syllables in America. It makes the point stand out like a sore thumb.

Matt and Trey got an absurd amount of money, total liberty and get to keep making fun of Trump and his gaggle of morons in the corporation that is supposed to be doing Trump's bidding.

Matt and Trey already got very well compensated.
South Park is the last gasp of the prior management and Viacom/Paramount's previous left-leaning employee and executive base.
They completed that deal with the South Park guys in the last weeks before Skydance took over, and from what we've seen, that was probably their last renewal but also one that wouldn't have happened if the deal closed a few months earlier.
At least the company gets resentment from Mango Mussolini.
South Park feels like some of the last sanity remaining coming out of the US, gives me a glimmer of hope
That's a return to form for South ~~Park~~ America. The ending song is hilarious.
We'll only get 6 episodes this season though. I miss the time where series had like 20-25 episodes per season.
That time never was.
Most we ever got was 17 episodes in Season 3, 4 and 6.
Correction: Season 2 had 18 episodes.
I meant more generally in series. It seems every series today is 6-8 episodes, and then you get to wait 2-3 years between seasons. At least South Park has been somewhat consistent with time between releases.
