Ed Sheeran's weekend shows at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, the venue owned by pro-Israel billionaire Robert Kraft who had pushed for Macklemore's removal from the tour over his pro-Palestine remarks, have been cancelled.

"Due to the severe weather warnings in place in Boston and across New England throughout the weekend and following consultation with local officials, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Ed Sheeran concerts at Gillette Stadium," concert promoter Messina Touring posted on Instagram on Friday morning.

"The decision was made with the safety of fans, staff and everyone involved in the shows as a top priority."

Messina Touring said that any tickets purchased through Ticketmaster would be automatically refunded. Outside of Ticketmaster, refunds are currently available at the point of purchase.

3 other NFL stadium owners colluded with the New England Patriots owner Kraft to ban Sheeran if he didn’t fire Macklemore.

  • Carolina Panthers owner David Tepper
  • Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank
  • Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie

Sheeran’s net worth is $400M. May he never find work again and spend $1M on therapy, and may I never have to see another post about him.

Considering the grimacing that Swifties have been making in videos where they listen to her latest album, her career could also be on a downward trajectory

Objectively speaking, she’s had a phenomenal twenty year run. She’s unquestionably talented and hard-working, but under her well-crafted façade I think is someone born into wealth, who masterfully navigated the music & pop-culture industries, including social media, which was a relatively new thing at the time. I think the Taylor Swift people think they know has always been a persona that she invented & maintained for public consumption, with some consultation with public relations specialists. I think most of her relationships with other celebrities were manufactured for the public, to the benefit of each’s career.

Due to severe weather

Damn, seems they gone and pissed off god, I guess.

Difficult decision

Yeah, I bet. It's just so difficult to cancel a show once everyone but one guy on your roster has dropped/been dropped.

If it was noreaster related, the decision is probably not difficult. Weather was the excuse, I'd gather.

“The decision was made with the safety of fans, staff and everyone involved in the shows [used as an excuse, and insurance payout] as a top priority.”

FTFY.
