Could you just take a picture of that bud on top after harvesting and post it with something to show the scale?

[-] bizzle@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

Good work, Bizzle. Enjoy!

I remember a news story about a dutch guy years ago who kept the stem packed up for the winter after harvesting and after about 15 years it was basically a tree.

[-] bizzle@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

I've heard of guys doing that but alas I think my winters are too harsh, it'll get down to -40 with the wind chill and the frost line is like 48" deep

[-] HerbalGamer@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 weeks ago

Luckily it's -40 so I don't have to ask which.

Anything that supports this monster? A good wind storm here would absolutely destroy it. Nice grow!

[-] MunkyNutts@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

[-] bizzle@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago

Good intentions lmfao it's windy up here at Bizzle's Hilltop Garden so they grow strong but she does lean pretty significantly.
