At my first hospitality place there was exactly one person who could pull off gorgeous latte art. I begged her to tell me the very basics, at least. There was always something preventing it until she left. I went "so I gotta figure it out for myself" - then proceeded to make 72952 weirdly shaped butts, penises, gourds, potatoes and turds. But THEN, one job, several years and oceans of milk later it kinda clicked, and I made my first (if ever so slightly wonky) heart.
...And then I proceeded to make hundreds of gourds, and one cute heart here and there.
You're past those 70K attempts (and I bet you've done it in less). Keep going! Given enough time, you can get to a decent level in about everything. Ignore the occasional hundreds of gourds and focus on your odd hearts! You're on track.
