Feeling cozy in my slightly oversized jacket while walking through the misty days and cooling my gaming pc by opening the window.

The cool, but not freezing cold, weather. Like the perfect temp for wearing a hoodie all day.

There's also a vibe to it. Like a stillness you can feel even in the middle of a busy city. It feels cozy af. All my summer people are just beginning their descent into seasonal depression, while I am coming out of mine.

The food.

I can finally make soups and casseroles without my household dying from the kitchen heat. I make pumpkin bread and applesauce and apple cider donuts and it pairs perfectly with the weather.

Spiced teas and cider also hit so different when you’re breathing in fresh crisp air 🍁🍂

I like it becoming darker sooner

That summer is over.

Perfect flannel shirt weather.

No more overheating, fall tree colours (better than spring colours to me), cozy rainy days, absolutely don't mind the dark and sometimes surprise snowfall. /Fingerscrossed

Not sweating like a stuck pig if I’m outdoors for more than a minute or so.

No more mosquitos 🥳

The smell of fresh bread baking. We don't bake bread in the summer months.

The colors and the lack of heat.

Gotta be the smell. Which is weird, since it's largely the smell of dead leaves, but it works

Campfires and s'mores
