probably had AI generate the form. Gonna be real funny when the AI regulating the market does a little oopsy doopsy decimal hallucination.

[-] Shadow@lemmy.ca 59 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

S and D are next to each other on a keyboard, ai doesn't make typos like that.

[-] wittymcusername@lemmy.zip 19 points 5 days ago

I assumed AI would make typos like that if it were trained on the prose of millions of idiots who also make typos like that.

[-] Shadow@lemmy.ca 9 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

Reddit / forums are not the sole source of AI training, there's also huge swaths of books, magazines, academic content, news articles, etc. LLMs are also designed to deal with typos, if 97% of people spell it "United" and 3% spell it "Unites" given that context / surrounding text, it'll handle it.

[-] nomoredreaddit@lemmy.world 4 points 5 days ago

Now that is what I call some Super (Idiot) Intelligence-SII- pronounced sigh...

I wish LLMs made that kind of mistake. Maybe then people wouldn't have started blindly trusting them almost immediately.

[-] realitaetsverlust@piefed.zip 4 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

Nah, AI doesn't make any typos. That's one thing it's genuinely good at.

the actual content is also probably ai generated and doesn't say anything.

[-] silly_crotch@sh.itjust.works 19 points 5 days ago

This is so poorly written... it's appalling.

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 8 points 5 days ago

Also, donnie dumbass signed it, too. It talks about "our companies". Which frontier model does donnie dumbass run again?

[-] Spur4383@lemmy.world 6 points 5 days ago

The American Super Intelligence of America, obviously.

[-] Bonifratz@piefed.zip 7 points 5 days ago

[...] we believe each company should [...]

Let me translate:

Hello, here's some paper for you to wipe your arses with, kthxbye

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 6 points 5 days ago

Also, no normal human being calls it "Super Intelligence".

Things like AI, ASI, AGI, etc....predate donnie dipshit by decades so he can fuck right off with thinking we are adopting his stupid nomenclature because he had a brain fart that one time and thinks he's clever or has any insight into any of this stuff.

He can order current apparatchiks to use that language in government docs I guess, but that means sweet fuck-all to the rest of us.

[-] INHALE_VEGETABLES@aussie.zone 1 points 3 days ago

I'm using it in regular conversation, the cringe reactions are great.

[-] YouTalkinToMe@lemmy.world 33 points 5 days ago

Nah, won't happen now it is super intelligencs

You don't spellcheck important documents with worldwide significance.

I quadruple check my food order for typos.

We are not the same.

That just shows how seriously AI companies plan to take this

And Trump is simply an idiot who just blatantly signs anything and likely didn't even notice.

[-] auzy1@lemmy.world 6 points 5 days ago

Also, say what you want about Biden, but he would have noticed that and asked if to be fixed first

If Biden using an autopen is enough grounds to invalidate something, then letting AI slobber all over it to the point where it misspells the name of the fucking country sure as hell is.

Also, did Greg have his kid sign the thing? It looks like it should be written in crayon

Who cares anyway, its just the united crates 🤷‍♂️

[-] postmateDumbass@lemmy.world 7 points 5 days ago

The Untied Crates of Amellica.

[-] rayyy@piefed.social 14 points 5 days ago

The US is both the laughing stock and a world terrorist today.

[-] 4am@lemmy.zip 14 points 5 days ago

“If we misspell the name of the country, then we can say it doesn’t count when it becomes a problem for us” is probably the toddler-level sovereign citizen logic going on here

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 4 points 5 days ago

Well, even that they fucked up - they should have used all caps for their personal names! 🤣

But maybe they signed it in a room with a flag that had a fringe on it!

[-] glitch1985@lemmy.world 13 points 5 days ago

Clippy would have caught that.

List of the biggest cucks on this planet

[-] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 5 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

It's not misspelled. Lake Ontario is Lake America now, and now it's the Unites States.

[-] Snapz@lemmy.world 9 points 5 days ago

muckerberg convinced trump it was his own idea, but the renaming to attempt to shed baggage is facebook's playbook and the reason you're discussing this as "meta". It's not meta, it's facebook. The same company that did cambridge analytica and drives kids to end their lives after being tortured by predatory algorithms.

That's all this is. An attempt to direct you away from those previous headlines. They will immediately chafe it in all their surfaces. "Sure, AI maybe had some problems, but thankfully superslop is something completely different"

Next up is guessing what new term they'll use for data centers... "Logistics hubs" maybe? LHs enable "buy one get one" on a medium pizza hut pizza, every month, to every forward thinking person in that same zip code. Wow! #WereInThisTogetherDawg

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 9 points 5 days ago

Is this like where the sovereign citizens declare any id with your name in ALL CAPS is not "really" you but a corporation and something something maritime law?

If they don't even spell the country right, I'm assuming it's even less meaningful than it already was? Which was not at all?

Also:

[-] stumu415@lemmy.zip 7 points 5 days ago

No one in the rest of the world gives a fuck anymore what the US calls things. We have well and truly moved on.

Fucking clowm show

[-] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 5 points 5 days ago

You just can't call yourself a genius. There has to be at least some proof. So far...crickets.

[-] ThePantser@sh.itjust.works 9 points 5 days ago

Some of those signatures are stupid as fuck. WTF is going on with ole lizardmans sig?

[-] ltxrtquq@lemmy.ml 5 points 5 days ago

It's a cursive Z. Don't ask me why it looks like that, cursive is weird and shouldn't be used anymore.

Gdb? The debugger?

[-] ShellMonkey@piefed.socdojo.com 8 points 5 days ago

If that's the original format it's no shock that Donnie has to have the most biggly importantest signature all by itself. The narcissistic need to be the center of discussion, the principal player, it's a deal about him not the country...

I suppose the execs are smart enough to know they need to play along lest they become the targets of a future tantrum.

Jensens signature is the nicest to look at.

[-] Sinthesis@lemmy.today 5 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

I see three categories of signatures here:

For Art:

  • Jensen

For Show:

  • Trump, Pichai, Zuck, Elmo

"What are signatures? I use a keyboard":

  • Amodei, Brockman

They're just transcribing it from that speech where he said "God blesh the united staesh"

[-] M137@lemmy.today 2 points 4 days ago

This list is like "if we made the world now into a bad movie, what group of people would be the leaders of the baddies?"
It's just such a fucked up thing to see.

[-] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 5 points 5 days ago

Idiocracy was a documentary.

[-] Lushed_Lungfish@lemmy.ca 10 points 5 days ago

Nope. Idiocracy had a president that was willing to admit that the country was in a rough patch, appointed the smartest man he could find to lead them out of the crisis, listened to that expert advice and course corrected when presented with new evidence.

Oh, also President Camacho didn't RAPE CHILDREN. I think that deserved some small mention.

[-] P1nkman@lemmy.world 6 points 5 days ago

No, because in Idiocracy, they knew they were dumb and had to follow the smartest man alive. Other than that, 100% documentary.
