As E-bikes gain popularity and people realize just how convenient they are, pressure for bike lanes will only keep increasing.

Best of luck yall.

Cyclests are legally allowed to use the cars lanes right? Time to have a race for last place? Take up all of the lanes and ride as slow as possible.

I remember seeing some tv show as a kid where there was a bike protest (??) where a bunch of bike riders went around with big PVC pipe rectangles hanging off the bikes that were the size of a car. Maybe that would be the play here as a protest. Here's an article I found with images of something similar to what I was talking about.

We rode in the car lanes before the bike lanes. The carbrains have forgotten that.

My money is on someone paying Doug "bee eater" Ford to get rid of them.

I think it's more of a campaign / propaganda tool. Doug's supprters tend to hate bike lanes and this keeps them and us distracted while he does more important stuff to enrich those who pay his campaign. Like moving the Ontario Science Centre to give the land under it to his developer donors. Or handed Ontario Place to a shady firm for 99 years. And whatever the current schemes are.

Fantastic! Advocacy works, people!
