Anti-AI extremism would require one hating AI without any good reason. Any good reason could mean
- personal bad experiences with AI (especially if it can be painted as traumatic),
- getting "AI fatigue",
- getting scammed by, or at least knowing one person who was scammed by AI even once;
- having read statistics about AI's bad effects,
- having read anecdotes (which can be later be referred to as "statistics") about how bad AI is,
- or even just not hating AI to be seen as evil.
In addition, anti-AI extremism would require bad optics, such as looking like an anti-AI skinhead (bonus points if you have anti-AI hate symbols as tattoos, especially on face). Or having a toothbrush mustache, a sidecombed hair, suit designed by Hugo Boss, being escorted by blonde men in Hugo Boss suits who do a constant Roman Salute, end when you finally arrive to Berlin, you scream "I am ze evil Adolf Hitler! I will kill ze AI chatbots, for ze sake of evil!". Or maybe those rare emo anti-AI extremists of the 2000s made fun of on ED and similar sites, who self harmed due to the existence of AI, and wrote emo poems about hating AI titled "I fucking hate AI".
Anything else is just rational reaction to AI fatigue people have, for understandable reasons. And people are rightfully fearful of AI users, because of the Australian case of an AI bro biting a person, and all the shootings AI users did under psychosis.
OOC: But we don't live in a perfect world, so we're being called anti-AI extremists for simply not wanting to use AI, or engage with AI generated content, let alone about any attempt at trying to regulate it.
