Because we have to deal with the rubes in the flyover states. I don't know who could be so dumb to vote for Trump in 2024. How do tariffs lower prices? Can someone explain this leap in logic. How does pursuing an energy profile that is mostly fossil fuels lower prices?

As a starting point, the burning of fossil fuels, and to a lesser extent deforestation and release of methane are responsible for the warming in recent decades: Graph of temperature as observed with significant warming, and simulated without added greenhouse gases and other anthropogentic changes, which shows no significant warming
