This looks interesting - would you use a virtual video store to browse your self hosted media?

If you are looking for s similar item but dont want to pay there is this https://halcyon-video.github.io/halcyon-video/

I have a instance of it running with jellyfin and it fun. I find i like it when I dont know what to watch and want to browse for a bit. By no means is it quicker but its fun.

Sounds cool, but I don’t think I can trust someone I’ve never met with all the media I have.

If it was free, I could imagine downloading it once to try it out. But I doubt I would ever run it again after trying it once. It doesn't seem like a more interesting or efficient means of selecting content to watch or anything like that. I would also be wary about giving a closed-source program access to my media library.

But if it costed any fee, even just a one-time purchase of 1€, I wouldn't be interested at all.

No, it's for browsing your self-hosted video library.
