That's not a valve though, that's just a wheel to (probably) control the valve.
To control the valve? So whoever manages to pull the ~~sword~~ wheel from the ~~stone~~ shaft becomes the new ruler of ~~england~~ Valve?
The crown of Gaben.
Its a valve stem with hand wheel unless the valve body is buried under the floor out of sight. It looks like a gate valve to me where that lead screw literally lifts or lowers the gate into place in the valve body.

Maybe the thief stole the valve and the photo in the post was focusing on the wheel in an unsuccessful attempt at misdirection.
My brother in Christ, is your steering wheel not your car?
Can't believe they left Team Fortress rotting and made fucking Deadlock instead. Imagine a beautiful TF3 ;-;
I wonder if they could ever recapture TF2's charm. I can't see making all of the mercs – but again – working.
If they ever did make a TF3 it'd probably be substantially different.
That's okay, a new spin on a hero shooter would be nice.
Lol no way, a new thing is way better than a rehash.
Its just a moba. Not exactly "new" itself. A new spin on TF would have been awesome.
Sorry to the Team Fortress folks, I really like Deadlock tho
I am not a fan of MOBAs. I tried playing it, but it requires a lot of knowledge just to understand what you're doing. Also because it's free to play people are jerks rather than helpful.
It's weird, I've never been a fan of MOBAs at all, but there's something that clicked with Deadlock for me, but I get that it's not for everyone. Further, from mine and my friend's experiences, people in Deadlock have actually been quite gracious! You get your occasional dickhead that says stupid shit sometimes, but generally people are pretty chill, and understanding if you're new.
Too much CC in it. It has the age old problem of characters that are fun to play, but absolute dogshit to play against.
I need to give it another shot. I liked the big book guy.
~~I've never even heard of it, and I'm a big fan of Valve. Game must have failed miserably. That probably should have advertised it.~~
It's not out yet.
Yes I know now, thank you. Please see the other reply to my comment.
If bit: Good bit
Else: It's still alpha and is only really public because some journalists leaked it's existence. Basically letting players ask for an invite to be guinea pigs.
Thanks for the info. I literally learned about this game from this thread, but apparently it's been in a closed early access for a few years now; I guess I'm just one of today's lucky 10,000.

Moderator Guidelines
Moderator Guidelines
- Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral.
- Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username.
- When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM.
- Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users.
- Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling.
- Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal.
- Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated.
- Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren't unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do.
- Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
- Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
- Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
- Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
- First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
- Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
- No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
- Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
- Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.
