Reform UK’s Robert Jenrick said the UK was “going down the pan and our prime minister is faffing around tweaking parking tickets” – despite trying to implement the policy himself when he was a Conservative minister.

Brilliant, honest, genuine and constructive criticism from the foreign interest UK party.

I have no issues with the prime minister setting task forces up to deal with issues people encounter every day.
Its not like that is all he is doing. Our government is - in fact - able to do more than 1 thing at once

Exploitative parking fines are actually a big problem for people on limited income. I'm actually very pleased that it's been clamped down on.

These certainly aren't the big issues that governments should mainly focus on, but I think there is definitely something in this. A lot of people seem to feel the "death by a thousand cuts" that modern life seems to impose on us. Just small inconveniences, annoyances and costs we experience every day that are unfair and make our lives slightly worse. I think this is an opportunity for small things that are highly visible that actually make people's lives better in small ways but don't cost a lot. So I'm broadly in favour of this as long as it does not take up too much government effort.

Depends on whether he improves people's living conditions as well, or if he's content to just hope potholes will win him success.
