Daughter of ex-FBI director James Comey, a Trump foe, was dismissed in 2025 despite her work being widely praised

Maurene Comey, the daughter of the former FBI director James Comey, was unlawfully fired from her job as a federal prosecutor in New York last year, a federal judge ruled on Monday.

Judge Jesse Furman said that Comey, who was an assistant US attorney for a decade, was illegally fired in July 2025 despite her work on some of the nation’s highest-profile cases and consistently receiving “the highest accolades from supervisors and peers alike”.

After her firing, Comey sued the justice department and others, saying her termination violated the constitutional separation of powers, the first amendment and the due process clause of the fifth amendment.

If Democrats ever get power again, they need to do the same thing. Because there is absolutely no downside. The lawsuit was paid for by the government which means Democrats, who contribute more in taxes and Republicans, paid for both the trials and any damages.

Comey lost a year of her life fighting this.

So Trump won. Anyone going against him will be hurt and their family will be hurt too- and he will make you pay they money to do it.

So if the government returns to normal, and Democrats don't do the same, it will become, "Only be subservient to Republicans because they will hurt your family."

I agree, but to be clear, "need to do the same thing" means that they need to stop worrying about exercising power for good, to a corollary degree that Trump, Miller and the rest of these psychopaths don't worry about using power for evil.

I don't want democrats to normalize political lawfare, obviously. And they don't have to to put all of these people in jail. Because unlike their targets, Trump and co themselves are actually criminals, and that difference makes all the difference.

If they ever get power again, they need to arrest every republican that served since 2016 under Trump, line them up against a wall, and shoot them for treason.

Hell, I'd pay to watch that on pay per view.

Why would they do all that, when they can partake with their colleagues on the next Epstein island and take AIPAC money?

The only way your country is ever getting back up is by first purging out the idiocracy and I'm not talking about jail, these people don't care.

And I hope you have a proposal of how to do that without causing significantly more damage.

They're a brand new account encouraging violence and telling people voting is meaningless in other threads. Label them as such and best not to engage.
