So you think that supporting AI is political.
So you think that if people know you support AI, they will hate you.
Interesting…

Literally nothing like this at all. Its more like having to disclose if you cheated on your homework or not
No, it's like forcing the chef to disclose that he's defecating in the meal you're being served.
What a fucking idiot. Fire this asshole.
This dude sure does have a lot of opinions on how to improve someone else's launcher while also never improving his own launcher.
He tried, but programming is hard
It's more like a store requiring a candy bar they sell to list the ingredients.
What a stupid thing to say.
I was confused by your comment until I realised this wasn't an Onion headline.
You know big tech is full of shit when they pretend to care about the people's privacy
It's not even about privacy. Is basically complaining that they have to list the ingredients on the food packet, for most people this isn't a problem, but since his business has a tendency to sprinkle thorium in everything, he's acting a grieved.
tim sweeny is providing alot of comic relief.
Yeah that's exactly the analogy to reach for.
The shareholders really should take this idiots phone off him. He's doing them no favours at all.
Look, I don't mind the tag, because it helps with categorization. If someone makes a good game with ai assets, I'm not opposed to it. But I do know that it will be an easy "sea of mucus" filter to eliminate most of the low effort games that get published.
As someone who has an ethical problem with how most generative AI has been trained on the exploited labor of other people, I do feel like I have a right to know who is and isn't leveraging it.
I like the tag so I can tell the Steam app to automatically hide games with it. Cuts down on the slop.
Voting history is completely public where I live anyways so 🤷
Huh? Who you vote is just straight up public information?
In the US you can look up people's voter registration and see which party they're registered with. Not sure if this is every state or just some, but it's at least been the case in all the sates I've lived in. I've never seen one that actually displays your ballot selections though, just the registration status, but that could be a thing if there's a state that allows it.
Yes exactly
Is it because everyone votes for the supreme leader anyway?
They’re working on that apparently 😭
FYI, "free-range," "cage free," and "grass fed" don't actually mean anything. They can still be horribly abused in overcrowded barns. Look for "certified humane," the leaping bunny symbol, or other symbols protected by humane organizations.
Edit: in the US. Thanks for the clarifications
Those terms have meaning the the FDA, they just don't mean what most people think. Free range means no cages and access to outdoor area, usage or grazing isn't required. Cage free, similarly just means no cages in the shelter, the chickens are still 100% indoors. Grass fed is no longer controlled.
That's a US thing, it's just fine in the EU
I think free range is a protected term in some jurisdictions.
American once again assuming the whole world is like America
Steam and Epic are based in America, and I interpreted it in that context, as mentioning those warnings as a rebuttal to an American seems like it would be worth clarifying! I corrected my comment for clarity, but the chip on your shoulder is showing.
Fair, but both services are used worldwide...
A good point. I edited my comment for future clarity.
are akin to "forcing developers to list their voting history"
Well a good idea is a good idea. I mean if you voted democrat then you got nothing to worry about. What are you hiding?
Huh?
