Siphoning doesn't work unless you and the hose are underneath the level of fuel/liquid in the tank.

This is why having a minimum wage that actually covers costs of living matters, so one parent can work and cover the basic needs and if they desire one parent can stay home and teach the kids the basics like that you don’t have to lay on the fucking ground to siphon gas, you can use physics and your thumb to get the job done while keeping your cloths clean and your self esteem intact.
