Casual reminder that Mondelez is one of the very few large chocolate makers in the world that doesn't disclose what percentage of their chocolate is deforestation-free, and actively lobby against forestry protection laws.
They're bastards.

Got to love capitalist bullying
Mondelēz and all of the brands they own can go and fuck themselves. Handy don't buy list.
Also green and blacks is now cadburies so on the list.
Shit I just bought a bunch of Cadbury stuff for Halloween because I thought it was the least bad option. I'm going to have to be more creative next year.
You could try this next time:
Do Mondelez make a vegan Toblerone? No? Then there's no copyright issue here. Fuck off and shove it up your arse, Mondelez.
Was a trademark issue, for which ingredients are irrelevant.
Fair, but it's a different shape, in a different shaped package, with a completely different word on it (it's not like a "Teebleroon" or something). There's literally zero chance that someone could look at this and think "That must be a Toblerone".
So, Mondelez can still fuck off and shove it up their arse.
And contrary to Frankie Boyle's advice: pull it out again straight away, like starting a lawnmower, before the corners have had a chance to melt
~~B&M~~ Poundland used to sell a bar called 'Twin Peaks' that was astonishingly like Toblerone but did much better flavours and variety (at the time). It was lush and at Christmas I always chose those over Toblerone.
The only place anyone buys a Toblerone anymore is in an Airport on the way home because they forgot to get a gift.
This bar bears absolutely no resemblence. I hope Mondelez gets eaten alive by their own greed.
Edit: Clearning up a mistake...it was Poundland, not B&M.
Fyi poundland now owned by the finance vultures that killed borders.
Not that its very relevant but we had a warning about mondelez above and i wanted to continue the theme of calling out awful companies.
All information is greatly appreciated.
Yeah, I just read about Poundland recently and how they are trying to buying it back from the owner.
General community for news/discussion in the UK.
Less serious posts should go in !casualuk@feddit.uk or !andfinally@feddit.uk
More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.
Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
