President Trump has spent hours running massive political decisions—like the kidnapping of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro—past artificial intelligence chatbots like Elon Musk’s Grok. Now Democrats are demanding the records of his chats.

Representatives Jamie Raskin and Robert Garcia, the top Democrats on the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees, wrote a five-page letter to President Trump on Wednesday pressing for answers on his chatbot use, whether it be Grok, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any other such tool.

“We are writing to ask whether you have actually been soliciting advice from Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, Grok, in order to help you carry out your official duties as President of the United States. If so, we are writing to inform you that any prompts that you, your staff, or advisors in the Executive Office of the President (EOP) have submitted to AI chatbots … are the sole property of the United States and legally must be preserved for posterity.”

"Naked 15 year old Ivanka".

[-] Didntdoit71@feddit.online 25 points 5 days ago

No way did he ask to see her that old. Start at 13 and work backwards would more like it. He's a fucking pedo, after all.

[-] foggy@lemmy.world 4 points 4 days ago

Technically speaking? Technically speaking...

[-] gAlienLifeform@lemmy.world 47 points 4 days ago

I hope they keep up all of these demands they've been making recently when they have the house majority back and actually have the power to follow through

[-] JustPlainDave@lemmy.zip 22 points 4 days ago

Every time I hear people say he has an actual plan or that he isn't the dumbest son of a bitch on the planet I'm going to bring this up because I've been convinced since 2016 that he's the dumbest son of a bitch on the planet.

The bigger the narcissist, the less they learn, because they're convinced they know everything. Trump has been rich and enabled since birth. An argument can be made that as one of the worst narcissists to ever walk the earth, Trump might be the dumbest too.

He says he hasn't changed at all since he was 6 years old.

Our president has the mind of a 6 year old.

[-] LadyButterfly@reddthat.com 19 points 4 days ago

He runs important decisions past chatbots?????? Jesus Christ. Jesus fucking Christ

[-] Tyrq@lemmy.dbzer0.com 13 points 4 days ago

Uh excuse me it's SuperIntellience thank you very much, he wouldn't just run it through any ol' Bonzai Buddy

[-] adarza@lemmy.ca 3 points 4 days ago

that lovable purple gorilla would be 1000000000x better than the orange dipshit or his precious 'super intelligence'.

[-] Malica@lemmy.zip 5 points 4 days ago

His lawyers also argued in court that he should be allowed to sell state secrets on eBay. I think we can kiss secrecy goodbye.

[-] vithigar@lemmy.ca 4 points 4 days ago

Doesn't actually strike me as worse than making them himself in this case.

[-] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 1 points 2 days ago

He's probably asking Grok.

[-] LadyButterfly@reddthat.com 2 points 4 days ago

Valid point

[-] ElDuderino@lemmus.org 1 points 4 days ago

How do I end this Iran shitshow? Make no mistakes!

[-] Doomsider@lemmy.world 8 points 4 days ago

These logs are a matter of public records. We have the right to point and laugh at what he wrote and I fucking garuantee it is hilarious.

Lol like how he flushed and burned documents and other destruction last time, and later theft of documents, he won't comply. He's a piece of shit and will continue to behave that way. Bad fruit from the sickness of the proudly prejudiced and tribal apes.

[-] rayyy@lemmy.world 8 points 4 days ago

Probably using AI to scheme an overthrow of the election.

[-] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 10 points 4 days ago

Just ask the bot.

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 5 points 4 days ago

Imagine if they were able to get this. Holy shit.

[-] zbyte64@awful.systems 3 points 4 days ago

I bet there are health related questions in there as well. God it would be so delicious to see Grok convince him he doesn't have dementia or that blood in his pee is normal.

[-] Atelopus-zeteki@fedia.io 5 points 4 days ago

Transparency from 86/47? Yes, please!! And now.

[-] xxce2AAb@feddit.dk 4 points 4 days ago

Trump poisoning the well by adding his blather to their training sets might just be the only action of his I can get behind.

No, wait. That's uncharitable. I'm a big fan of his dietary choices too.

[-] Lushed_Lungfish@lemmy.ca 3 points 4 days ago

I dunno. Chatbots are pretty fucking stupid, but Trump is dumber...

[-] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 2 points 4 days ago

I didn't give Trump permission to use chatbots

[-] vaultdweller013@sh.itjust.works 0 points 4 days ago

Id say I want to sacrifice this pissrag but that'd just be an insult to the Allfather at this point. Odin has wisdom connotations and all but this blithering bag of bio waste is clearly lacking in any, at least Vance has a form of shitty political cunning.

[-] dream_weasel@sh.itjust.works -3 points 4 days ago

And they sent a strong letter!

[-] neidu4@piefed.social 17 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

That's.... that's what a legislative body does. Or are you more in favor of interpretive dance?

[-] dream_weasel@sh.itjust.works -2 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

Lawsuits, depositions, and official actions including shutdowns and so on are more my speed. Only the first of which is really available until after mid terms. Democrats acting stern with no follow up is par for the course even when they have control of one or more branches of government.

Edit: alright well fuck me then let's Susan Collins this thing. Send a letter and hope everyone learns a lesson.

[-] neidu4@piefed.social 6 points 4 days ago* (last edited 4 days ago)

Those are not the tasks of a legislative body. That's on everyone else, you included.

Well maybe not depositions, that's more of a judicial branch thing.

[-] the_artic_one@piefed.social 3 points 4 days ago

And they wrote a snarky social media comment.
