Why are they acting like this is some unprecedented thing. In a war you target the defenses then go for the objectives those defenses were protecting. Do they think the Iranians are so stupid they couldn't figure that out?
Because everyone these days is used to the USraeli style of warfare where you just target schools and hospitals and bridges.
Because the US hubris led to a point where they literally believed no one would fight back. Venezuela fueled that psychosis too sadly.

So Iran is targeting the military sites that attacked it, while the USA plans a massive post-election attack on civilian infrastructure in Iran? One of these countries is acting more evil than the other.

Yes, the Iranian regime is nasty to its citizens. This doesn't justify the USA attacking civilian Iranian targets while Iran attacks military American targets.

Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
