If they allow russia to play they'll have more problems than what they would by not letting them play.

Finnish team has already said they wont play against them.

Turku, announced they will withdraw from hosting the juniors world championship if russia is allowed to play.

I think Latvia or Lithuania also said they wont be playing against them. Norway just did the same.

Czechia will not allow Russian hockey teams to participate in the IIHF World U18 Women's Championship in January 2027.

One of the big sponsors also stated they will withdraw.

All of this in just the last day or two. I'm sure I'm forgetting something as well. If they allow russia to play, its going to be a giant clusterfuck. This is such a moronic decision, I want to know how big the bribes were.

Edit: Sweden and Denmark just declared they wont play against russia. Germany considering withdrawing from hosting. Canada wont give visas to russian athletes.

Why is everyone bending over backwards for Russia, fuck these guys

Its actually a very small amount of people who are bending over to russia. They just happen to have a lot of power, which is highly annoying.

But they are so big on a map! And their leader is so masculine!

Who wouldn't want to be friend with someone who lives the wet dream of everyone aspiring to be rich and powerful: controlling an entire country with no rules and boundaries whatsoever, brazenly stuffing his own pockets to heart's content with the riches of the nation.

That's why Putin desperately needs to seem powerful and hence, ironically, needs to participate in these sports contests. The more people realise what a sad, weak, wrinkling loser he actually is, sitting on a giant throne with feet of clay, the worse for him and the better for everyone else on this planet.

If the russians are allowed to compete, N'drangheta, isis, afd, the sicilian mafia, and Team Rocket should also be allowed to compete as "countries"

I personally WANT to see the Mafia team.

If they let Russia play, then they'll have to let the US play.
