Yeah I'm reposting it from 2 years ago but the message is still valid.
TNG S1E1 Encounter at Farpoint
DS9 S3E11 Past Tense
DS9 S1E12 Battle Lines
TNG S1E6 Where No One Has Gone Before
I turned in my early ballot back on October 30th.
Mostly glad for the national results (holy frick, Texas!), although a few bad propositions passed in my state, and my congressional district stayed red where most of the rest of the state went more blue than usual. At least I kept an idiot out of the governor's office.
I cast my vote!
___
Vote for Casual Fridays on the Enterprise.
I'm all for it! But watch out for old man Jellico...
Killjoy.
What an ironic reaction image.
Yup.
A "no vote" is not a protest registered.
A "no vote" is a vote for "any tyrant will do".
A spoiled ballot paper better registers as "none of the above".
Gotta vote, and more, to mend this.
VOTER MANIPULATION!!!
~The Good(TM) Kind.~
I wanna see the vote count for Jaresh-Inyo!
I think having cops and soldiers completely dependent on drugs could be good, because at least it would put meth addicts on equal footing with the billionaires.
Yes, let’s give them MORE reason to be corrupt and harass civilians.
On the plus side you can throw a baggie and then leg it in the opposite direction while they're busy
You just have to keep some meth or fent or whatever they’re on nearby. Maybe a map of transformer stations.
Like a puppy with a new toy.
~You want some more fentanyl? Do a trick. Come on. Sit up! Who’s a good copper?!?~
/c/TenForward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!
Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags.
Use spoiler tags in comments, and NSFW checkbox for posts.
This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ 8. No Political Upheaval. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.
Fun will now commence.
