Investors you say?

We’re really using that term loosely, eh?

[-] lacethespace@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 day ago

If it can't get lower then rational decision is to buy in now, right?

[-] IronBird@lemmy.world 8 points 1 day ago

it can always go lower, there are hundreds of reverse split/dilution scam-cos just like DJT that exist solely to siphon $ off of public markets

I'm absolutely shocked that a scam named after a scammer isn't doing as well as the scammers claimed it would.

What's next? Finding out that the scam named after a scammer may not be legit and just be a scam after all?

Have you not seen the Time magazine cover? Once you have, can you deny it?

Trump's nussy on the cover of Time magazine

[-] eicker@lemmy.world 39 points 1 day ago

Trump managed to turn political loyalty into an asset class where the voters take the losses and the insiders take the profits. Usually politicians wait until after leaving office to cash in on their supporters. This one offered a live ticker.

[-] Cocodapuf@lemmy.world 2 points 19 hours ago* (last edited 19 hours ago)

The profits don't even go to insiders, they go to just one person. Whoever is issuing the coin is collecting all the money. People buy it at whatever rate the scammer in chief suggests, and then he can print more at no cost. He never purchases it back, there's no mechanism for it to gain in value, it can only lose value.

You could call it a "solid" investment, if what you mean is it's an actual heap of shit.

[-] Malica@lemmy.zip 5 points 1 day ago

Why would he wait when they love him unconditionally and they ask for seconds every time he hits them?

[-] Witchfire@lemmy.world 21 points 1 day ago

Sucks. Anyway what's everyone's favorite dish to make

[-] Flatulent69Iguana@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

[-] aeronmelon@lemmy.world 14 points 1 day ago

Half of that man’s head is neck.

[-] CapuccinoCoretto@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

Neck = pedestal for 12 lbs of shit in a 10 lbs bag.

[-] username_1@discuss.tchncs.de 13 points 1 day ago

The article is empty. It states that the current price is 1.12USD with no mention of any other data like the initial price.

[-] CedricWhaley@lemmy.dbzer0.com 11 points 1 day ago

So it still has over $1 to fall.

[-] Carl@anarchist.nexus 4 points 1 day ago

Technically, it could go below 1¢ each. Imagine being able to buy 1000 coins for a dollar.

[-] Nastybutler@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

They said "over a dollar" so yeah, less than one cent qualifies

[-] Rhaedas@fedia.io 6 points 1 day ago

I looked it up. Starting was around $8, almost hit $10 at one point. Plummeted all 2026.

[-] Knock_Knock_Lemmy_In@lemmy.world 4 points 23 hours ago

Trump took all that $8 money from the ICO. He doesn't give a shit what the current price is.

[-] _haha_oh_wow_@sh.itjust.works 9 points 1 day ago

beyond belief

I disagree, this is extremely believable.

Good news everyone

The nice thing about percentages is that you can always lose 99.9% more value!

[-] fizzbang@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

I think the wealthy criminals who received pardons or favorable policy are satisfied with their investment.
