"Pro-life," but refuse to do the bare fucking minimum to help other people.

[–] BedSharkPal@lemmy.ca 16 points 10 months ago (2 children)

Just like they are pro military, pro small government...

They are pro wealthy individuals and that's honestly it.

[–] Alivrah@lemmy.world 13 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Government so small it gets right into your bedroom

[–] HopeOfTheGunblade@kbin.social 9 points 10 months ago

They don't have principles, at all. They have goals, and anything that might get them closer to those goals will be said, regardless of inconsistency or hypocrisy.

Doesn't he end up liking the green eggs and ham?

[–] hansl@lemmy.world 19 points 10 months ago (2 children)

Correct. But you’d have to read the books to the end to understand that.

[–] trash@lemm.ee 9 points 10 months ago

It's probably banned anyway.

[–] Bob@midwest.social 2 points 10 months ago

Plus, this is The Cat in the Hat and not the stick-in-the-mud that refused spoiled food.

[–] Rejacked@lemmy.world 3 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Yep. ironically the story is about hating something without really knowing anything about it. Then once willing to open his mind, he is finally able to understand that green eggs and ham slow the spread of covid nineteen.

[–] Agent641@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago

Is it true that injecting the green eggs and ham into the bloodstream is the most effective way of killing covid?

[–] gosling@lemmy.world 19 points 10 months ago

it's funny how masks have existed their whole life and the only time they decide to hate on it is when they're actually needed

[–] Hyperreality@kbin.social 18 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Are they still going on about masks?

Or is it bots that don't realise it's not 2020?

[–] Sotuanduso@lemm.ee 5 points 10 months ago

It's also possible this is an old post.

[–] Jomega@lemmy.world 7 points 10 months ago

That's not even the right character.

[–] SharkAttak@kbin.social 5 points 10 months ago

It is not asked, it's mandatory.

[–] GardenVarietyAnxiety@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago

"I will not wear it out of fear"

Yes, we can see that.

[–] dipshit@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago

Sir you NEED to wear the mask to supply oxygen. You’ve been in a car accident. Do you know where you are? Sir?

Most have won their HCAs...and now with the uptick of RSVs it's looking like we got a new amount of nominees.

[–] mojo@lemm.ee 4 points 10 months ago

I will not wipe my ass

[–] traches@sh.itjust.works 2 points 9 months ago

Sorry I know this is a necro but they didn’t even get the reference right. The lines are in the style of green eggs and ham, which is a Dr Seuss book but not a cat in the hat book. Also, amusingly, in the end our dear protagonist realizes he does in fact like green eggs and ham…

[–] platypus_plumba@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago

Is it 2020 again? I knew we weren't going to escape it that easily.

[–] rynzcycle@kbin.social 2 points 10 months ago

I didn't see the community and was expecting "Crocs" or something funny.

I am disappointed.

[–] Pratai@lemmy.ca 1 points 10 months ago

They’re also afraid of books.
