I switched everything away from Google and no longer use any of their services. They have a track record of killing off projects and using the data we upload outside of their expected scope. They are in a weird space where I can't trust them to hold on to my data and I can't trust them to delete it.

I still use Gmail but 90% of the time it's through email aliases... sometime in the future I'm going to switch by changing all my redirections.

frankly though, if the data is that much worth to me, the last place I'd rely keeping it safe is big tech
