Easiest way to commit second degree murder and serve zero jail time!

Just don't drink and autopilot. If you do, you might become guilty

Oh no, almost a third of the price of his car. How will he ever manage?

This is the criminal case. I would be shocked if there wasn't also a civil case against him and Tesla for a much more substantial amount.

Honestly Tesla should also be held culpable. It isn't right to call something "autopilot" and allow it to work even when you aren't paying any attention to the road, and get away with it because your fine print says "it's not fully autonomous, pretty please still pay attention".

That's why you must apply pressure to the steering wheel for the "autopilot" to work, there's no "pretty please" bullshit.

It's something that happens since 2020 I guess.

Are you seriously trying to defend Tesla’s autopilot less than a week after they issued a recall based on the severe inadequacy of their safety controls against abuse, on the back of a two-year-long investigation into how dangerous it has been?

I'm just stating the requirement to use it properly. Autopilot or not you can't just distract while driving or being in a car in the driver's spot, what the fuck dude...
