He's hyperbolizing. The next statement is "to the police woman who dodges bullets by day but reads bedtime stories at night."

There are many things to dislike about this guy, but this is a hit piece.

Shit on him for his lack of policy, lack of empathy, pushing cryptocurrency, his unwillingness to get secret clearance. He deserves that.

I mean, sure. It's clear that he's trying to be poetic. I can make fun of him for being bad at it.

He is, and you should.

But making fun of someone's shitty attempts at being poetic and using a platform to convince the general population that he genuinely believes electrictians literally pull electricity from the sky are totally different things.

An electrician delivers a bottle of electricity to me every morning like the milkmen used to do.

This reads like a Ken M tweet

bottle of electricity

They're called Leyden jars.

Well, if they are, then they are doing a great service. Hopefully they can start putting it into the grid.

The hard part is actually catching the lightning, it's very fast. God bless those speedy electricians.

[–] Everblue@lemmy.ca 5 points 9 months ago

It's tough, but honest work.

You don't want to try and chase it.... It's far more effective to just put down traps.

He is an idiot. There are reasons he is called trump lite and squinty mcproudboy.

[–] Omega_Jimes@lemmy.ca 6 points 9 months ago (1 children)

That's not how this works! That's not how any of this works!!
