Can we now link the Republicans to Russia and call it for sure? Like how long is this going to continue? Until Russia wins and America goes into civil war?

[–] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 41 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Now? A handful went over there for the fourth of July years ago.

[–] Sanctus@lemmy.world 5 points 8 months ago

Yeah but like they're still taking trips to yank that Kremlin scrotum. Absolutely fornicating with foreign interests.

[–] Downcount@lemmy.world 8 points 8 months ago

Until proven otherwise we all lost already.

"Why should I not root for Russia, which I am."

I mean is there any real question? The guy in Montana had it right. He's a horrible person.

Why else would he go to Moscow in fucking February ? He's not there for the weather....

[–] KairuByte@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Does anyone ever go to Moscow for the weather?

[–] dhork@lemmy.world 14 points 8 months ago

Smart Republicans go to Moscow in July. I hear it's a great place to spend the 4th....

I just assumed he was there to get his annual review.

[–] xc2215x@lemmy.world 17 points 8 months ago

It is the only reason he would be there.

[–] Rapidcreek@lemmy.world 6 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Too bad he is useless as a hostage since nobody would be willing to pay to get him back

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 7 points 8 months ago

Can we pay them to keep him instead?

Carlson's loyalty to Putin is just an act. He's really there to assassinate Putin on Biden's orders.

[–] Tristaniopsis@aussie.zone 18 points 8 months ago (1 children)

Goddamit I wish that was true.

Imagine in the middle of his interview, Tucker LEAPS up and straddles Putin, tea-bagging him while plunging a frozen shard of Swanson TV dinner (chicken pot pie) into his guts repeatedly, all the while singing ‘Walking on Sunshine’.

[–] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 3 points 8 months ago

I'd love to see it happen, might even put it on one of those digital picture frames on an endless loop. Putin will probably get greenscreened over a body double though (to avoid issues with passing through solid objects).

We need to start this conspiracy theory. Tucker is actually a deep deep state asset working as a double agent on Bidens behalf.

Does someone not like the idea of using their insanity and ability to believe anything against them? Too bad because it's time to fight fire with fire. Let's get them thinking they don't know who to trust because everyone (including themselves) are part of the deep state conspiracy.

I think you're a little late to the party on that one.

[–] rdyoung@lemmy.world 1 points 8 months ago

I don't think so. They are definitely on the path to having the equivalent of a logic circuit burnout but they aren't there just yet and we need to stoke that fire.

[–] DeepThought42@lemmy.world 5 points 8 months ago

They can keep him.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

On Sunday, a Telegram channel considered close to Russian law enforcement reported Carlson had flown into Moscow from Istanbul three days earlier.

The post, published by Mash, included two photos, supposedly showing Carlson at an airport and another at Moscow’s Bolshoi Theater, where he was said to have attended а ballet performance on Sunday.

It added that, if it comes about, it would be Putin’s first sit-down interview with a Western journalist since his “special military operation” against Ukraine was launched almost two years ago.

Another channel belonging to the RIA state news agency wrote that in past interviews with American journalists, Putin had to defend himself against various “accusations.”

“Maybe he’ll be more lucky with Tucker Carlson — it is said the TV host, who openly sympathizes with Russia, has come here in the hope of talking to Putin,” the post said.

But Peskov didn’t discount the possibility of an in-depth interview with a Western journalist in the future, saying: “Whether or not Carlson will be among the potential candidates, we’ll have to wait and see.”

The original article contains 396 words, the summary contains 170 words. Saved 57%. I'm a bot and I'm open source!
