Throwing a bone though, in the USA we’re no stranger to human rights abuses. You see trafficking e.g. on International Boulevard in Oakland (San Francisco Bay Area). Cheers for pointing out the dates for anyone who missed them, I could’ve superimposed “earlier in the 21st century…” over the Independent article or something.
