I just tried to download the config files myself and Proton won't let me unless I have a paid account. I can't get yhe ones I need with a free account
You can only get the configs file of the same servers that are open to the free tier.

That works well if you can get signed up. Keep in mind that you can't change the location one you sign up though.
Just don't do anything on it that will get copyright complaints, they will likely terminate your account if you get one.
Windscribe has a free version that gives you 10GB/month worth of data. Some sites do block their IP addresses though but it is worth a shot.

It's mostly DMM that does it, I wanted to comeback to Umamusume but the DMM launcher doesn't let you log in without a japanese VPN anymore.
