As Kobold said, it's a computer game called Fin Fin on Teo the Magic Planet. It has a small internet cult fandom. It's misleadingly marketed as a pet game when it's more of a wildlife/birdwatching simulator than anything.

Fin Fin inspired me a lot over the last year (even got me into 3D modeling) so I owed it to him to add him to the canvas!

The big gimmick was that you used a microphone to talk to Fin Fin, but it did not work particularly well and was more frustrating than fun, in my experience. :(
