I'm in the process of transferring my deck into a JSAUX transparent Purple shell, as well as switching the sticks for Hall Sensors and getting the DeckHD 1200p Display. Unfortunately, I didn't check whether my original Joy Sticks were MEDA or MHDA before opening it up. Now I'm not sure what to set the ElecGear sticks to. Is there any way you tell from the sticks themselves? Bought the 64GB LCD when the OLED was announced, as it had quite a nice discount (upgraded to 512GB immediately), in case that helps with which sticks are more likely. Thanks.

Go to settings/system/about/ steam deck controller ID. The serial number will start with either MEDA or MHDA.

Amazing. Thank you very much, seems like I have the MEDA. Still seems strange that there is no way to tell from just the Hardware itself
