Buddy of mine just picked up No Man's Sky on Switch but it lacks the multiplayer features of other systems.

He only has Switch and I only have PC so I've come here to ask:

Aside from Minecraft or Terraria what other games are available on both Switch and PC that we could play cooperatively together?

Also it's totally fine if I need to host a dedicated server for it.

Edit: specifically need PC version playable on Linux and ideally something open world.

I think Rocket League is cross-platform.

Palia has crossplay between PC and Switch. It's not your average game but has a great community.

Oh nice, didn't realize that one was on Switch; thank you

Fall Guys. And Pokémon Unite, but you'd have to emulate the Android on your PC and I haven't been successful on Linux.

I haven't, but it's a bare bones emulator, isn't it? You also need some mapping software for that game to work.

It gives a full android environment, just sideload whatever apk you need.

I play Fortnite cross platform with Switch and PC. The Lego mod is open world. I'm not sure it's playable on Linux.

Unfortunately Fortnite is not currently playable on Linux

Dauntless and Minecraft Dungeons

Looks like Dauntless uses EAC which can be tricky to get working however I see Minecraft Dungeons looks to be working great; thank you
