Hey, maybe it was one of those "oh shit, I'm having a baby RIGHT NOW" deliveries.

Not ideal, but it happens. My friend's sister was literally in labor for less than an hour.

I suppose that's true. My wife just had her baby and if her water hadn't broke early she may have been the same way.
