Are there any diy communities?

Relaxed section for discussion and debate that doesn't fit anywhere else. Whether it's advice, how your week is going, a link that's at the back of your mind, or something like that, it can likely go here.
Subcommunities on Beehaw:
This community's icon was made by Aaron Schneider, under the CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.
I can't seem to find a movies one, best part of Reddit was looking up discussions of the recently released movies
Some that I have come to enjoy on "That other site":
Facepalm InstantKarma KDE Linux (although I appreciate there's a community for OS) ObsidianMD StarTrek Buddhism Astronomy Motocycle (and/or MotoUk) Meditation Archery Rollerblading
r/analog, and more generally r/photography
While probably not needed yet I can see a need in the future for a mini painting/tabletop/ttrpg spin off from the single gaming community if it grows substantially.
- More vinyl record collector communities. Always loved finding new music and seeing what interesting things people are picking up.
- Communities for specific, niche genres of music. Synthwave, mallcore, house music, jazz, etc.
- Archery! Love seeing the kind of things people are shooting, how people are shooting, getting advice, giving advice and learning new things about the sport.
- Geographically centered communities. I like having communities for my local state and cities to see what's going on in the area. Way more informative than local news.
I’d love to see a community for pro wrestling! The industry as a whole has made a lot of progress towards being inclusive. It has a long ways to go of course, but an even longer way for the social media communities to be less toxic and more thoughtful in content and discussions.
r/outside, r/publicbsod, r/wildlinuxappears, r/cyberdeck, r/WritingPrompts, r/ChatGPT
Media-related communities such as r/plex r/sonarr r/radarr plus the other *arrs and related like plex meta manager
NBA iphone photography, ask photograpy, beginner photography politics
Definitely r/genshin_impact
I saw it sort of mentioned, but I think niche shitposting communities like the various okbuddy subs.
Also wanted to add that a comics equivalent would be nice if there isn't one already. I doubt many of the longtime artists would migrate fully, but it would at least be another platform that could get them greater reach.
Videos/mealtimevideos was a big thing for me. They kept me entertained while I ate lunch, lol.
