I recall how my heart swelled with pride as they held fast to their patriotic ideals and took a principled stand by saying FUCK ALL at the time and opting not to make their thoughts known when it truly mattered.
Too little, too late.
Far too little. Similar opposition happened from the Republican Party in 2016 and it made no difference. He was still elected and proceeded to use the office for his own personal benefit. Not to mention spreading the foundation of fascism.
After being parr of the problem they all waited for their chance at a Fox News gig or book deal payday before speaking up so they can go fuck themselves.
Plus it isn't like they are going to sway any MAGA idiots who have all written them off after Trump discarded them.
And when push comes to shove, how many will vote for Biden in November if they feel so strongly about Trump not getting reelected? I'd venture that most of them will just get in line and vote with their party, since that's what GOP do.
While I agree with the well deserved snark for these folks and with some exceptions (Walrusface) I'd say they deserve credit for at least saying at some point. Even if it was too late to matter at the time, even if it is only a tiny whisper in the cacophony of another critical election, it's something and I'll take it.
I mean, they're basically agreeing to be excommunicated from the MAGA cult and despite how obviously fascist and insane we know them to be, that's still a very rare thing for whatever reasons.
Except for Bolton, fuck that guy.
The only thing Bolton didn't like about Trump was that Trump hesitated to kick off WW3 in his first term.
I honestly believe Bolton is just desperately trying to get into the history books as a wartime minister and doesn't give a fuck how many bodies that costs. His obsession with war seems to go well beyond the standard "I get kick backs from defense contractors" levels.

If the Trump administration could be consistently described by a single word, it would be "unprecedented". That seems to pop up in every other headline you'd see about the bastard.
