It’s one of the reasons I stopped following technology at Lemmy.world. So many reposts and no easy way just to swipe and make disappear, so I have to act on everything.

I use Voyager app for lemmy and default is lemmy.world and under Posts -> Communities -> All, there are many duplicate or reposted posts sometimes after seconds/minutes. I seen many communities with double posts. It makes it very annoying. I’m tired of using block community option. Maybe allow users to block or hide any reposts automatically. You can even just mach post titles and allow only unique titles. This won’t fix it completely, but should eliminate many lemmy auto repost bots.

This is not something that should be solved by the app front end. This should be fixed by a combination of moderator actions and some backend validation to detect inadvertent duplicate posts.

Perhaps another useful option would be to show the poster's name on reblogs, so it's easier to spot reposting trends. As it is now, I have to open the post to see who made the re-post.
