"I don't feel strongly about anything" if it's required, deleted email if it's not

As someone well versed in inhaling Nitrous Oxide, why not not just use Nitrous Oxide? That'd be a quick way out, and it's cheap, you can buy enough to kill a person on Amazon for like $30. Even if you fuck it up, they're unconscious and feeling nothing.

The Last of Us 2 absolutely had a hate campaign long before it released, it was review bombed within minutes of release

This game had everything on its side. All the youtuber who covered it the months before release were like "it seems too good to be true, but if it's true it'll be great". Everyone wanted it to be good, everyone wanted it to succeed

That's like going to McDonald's and holding up a picture of Burger King.

Some kid got angry and sat on my head underwater. He was several years older and much bigger (I was 7 he was maybe 11 or 12). He was mad because I confronted him about stealing my toys (little miniature transformers not expensive but theft is theft. He had been accusedof theft by others but my Mom thought he was just being bullied, he had a cleft lip, and I should try to be his friend). Both our families went to the lake for the weekend and he was playing with one in the water and for some reason either didn't think I'd see him playing with it or wanted me to be mad. I said I was going to tell on him and he grabbed me and shoved my face into the sand in two foot deep water and sat on my head.

Luckily there was a bystander who stopped it, but that fucker was totally prepared to murder me over some plastic. I later found out he had done similarly violent stuff to other kids after I stopped being around him.

It was decided that game engine development was over complicating the goal of Blender. It detracted from actual 3D software development resources and trying to make all blender features seamless with it was nearly doubling potential work.

What's funny to me is that the solution to long term use was in their hands. They could have licensed it cheaply to other devices until it replaced the mini USB, then charged whatever they wanted for use once it was the defacto standard. Instead they clasped too tightly onto it and now it's being forced into retirement

With how many cheap android phones have been produced, they'd be making money even if someone wasn't buying an apple product, essentially taking a piece of the market share that wasn't theirs.

I personally don't understand the need to hold it as "vs" perspective. You can have both. The Orville definitely wanted to be TNG 2, and if that's what you're looking for, then by all means.

This Linus failed to install Linux multiple times, but is somehow a prominent tech influencer.

You need a lot of capital to start a business, which is usually held by people who don't have an incentive to start a business for others benefit.

Also, entrepreneurs are usually individualistic (not talking shit, that's just the nature of it).

I see a huge issue with this.

I have seen in communities where mods will remove a user's post and then repost it themselves or with an alt and hit the front page.

So you're telling me now the mods have a financial incentive to do this? And what if as a money generating post gets removed simply because a mod doesn't like it, even though it doesn't break any rules?

I also feel like the quality of posts is about to implode even further from this. You're not asking artists or musicians or even meme creators to post, you're asking reposters to repost content that already did good.

Lemmy is a god send for me. It doesn't have endless content, so after a few minutes and a few comments, I just close it.

I genuinely enjoy NOT having access to the endless dopamine
