As people have said it's likely corrosion. More specifically, verdigris. It's the same sort of corrosion you see on the nosebridge of glasses. It's caused by the oils on your skin reacting with the bare metal of the keycaps. There isn't really a solution to stop it, apart from putting a clear coat over the metal.

That would be the Hays Code in action. It was the precurssor to the current system and was super restrictive as you've mentioned.

Going by the style of recipe, the name at the end, and the font, this looks like it's from an older community cookbook. Which were popular from the 1910s to early 60s. Making 6 cups of coffee and reducing it may have been the easiest way to do this at the time it was written.

I think that's the "back massager" that Cappie has in Miside.

GIRPS is nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be. Most rolls just boil down rolling 3 dice, adding the totals, and comparing them to your skill level.

No, that's a Goon Chair, you can tell by the screens. It's a common mistake to make.

The chair in the corner of the room you sit in while you watch your SO fuck someone else. Like those chairs in hotel rooms that always face the bed but don't have any tables next to them.

This saying actually means the opposite of what you think it does. "Missing the forest" in this context means to ignore it. So the saying is more about not being able to see the big picture because you're too caught up in a single tree.

Hopefully this can help mitigate some of the iritation the saying has for you.

Those algorithms have always had a thing for pushing the extreme.
