@Montagge @GeekFTW lol that's hilarious, the new graphic is VERY clear now

@GeekFTW hold up. The title says that TNA is extending the contract, but the graphic says he resigned. Which is it? Normally it doesn't matter because you probably want to stay at your wrestling promotion, but in this case I wonder if this is Anthem keeping Josh Alexander on lock? Idk, I'm just sus about everything they do now, lol.

@GeekFTW NGL, it's a clever way to mess with fans and drum up hype to something. I imagine it's something at Impact or No Surrender only because I would be surprised for them to have a public show of their displeasure with Anthem.

In my heart I want it to mean that Scott D'Amore return incoming lol

@ThatSportsChick @wrestling and Edge. AEW is unfortunately good at making top stars feel like mid card people.

@GeekFTW I don't understand the appeal of Shotzi. Idk, I don't vibe with her performances.

@GeekFTW the way he talked about it makes me think that he suspects TNA was losing money. Maybe that has been the state of things for a while and what they wanted out of TNA was to start being profitable or cut costs. But if D'Amore was asking for money and to increase budget, that's just not a guy who will do the cost cutting that they need. Theory: they let D'Amore try to increase revenue but his time was up and now it's time to contain costs.

@GeekFTW yeah, that sounds real possible. I can only imagine how intimidating organizing a strike would be so I don't blame folks for not wanting to. Especially if you're employed in a highly competitive industry for the third largest promotion.

@SquaredCircle legit might go back to Twitter just to ask about this idea

@GeekFTW @Montagge context: Moose is the current TNA world champion.

@TellumSiege I will remind us that no one suspected the Netflix deal. I think WWE is choosing what they tell us right now.

Also the way I square the conflicting reports is that Meltzer reflects the plans among TKO leadership and SRS reflects reports from WWE creative down. Different parties knew different things.

@GeekFTW if they go through all this trouble of acknowledging the online discourse and don't give us what we want, they're crazy.

@GeekFTW Rock bad, Cody good

I can understand their decision, but it's not what I wanted and if they can switch gears (clumsily or not) I would prefer it.
