I have the Q13 Alice from Keychron and have 0 issues with it on Linux
This is admittedly quite funny based on how ineffective it is. You can just rename the exe and it works. All other chromium browsers work (including Microsoft Edge).
There's a comedy skit by Caroline Easom where she plays an orthodontist and asks a patient why she didn't get braces as a kid. The patient says she couldn't afford them and the ortho says "I've never heard of that..." In a very perplexed voice.

It's super common.
It's there, it's just not necessary for launching an application. It's the same as on Android.
I'm pretty sure antiX is designed for this specific use, but I have not run it personally. It's based in Debian stable (which right now is Bookworm and will be Trixie pretty soon). I'm very fond of Debian. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done.
