Oh yeah stop doing that. I stopped that years ago and it's great.

I was on the receiving end. I have a friend who for two years, would message me about hot sauce and send me photos of hot sauces he's tried out. Probably like 20 images He sent me a box of hot sauce when he came over one time.

I do not share the passion with him at all and he did not take it well when I let him know that.

I'm trying to answer honestly and I don't know how to explain this through the internet. You're not the only person whose asked this. And Ive explained this to a personal friend (who is white) why his comments weren't flirting, but really creepy. So I hope this provide some clarity.

There's just cues that the person drops that are clear indicators that the person is a asiaphile at the creepiest level.

I work in tech, I'm a POC, I have lots of friends and family who are also POC, and we share things. We've all had some experience where we're in a room and some creepy (can be male or female) person just hits those notes. Where they see me, and rather talk about me as a person, go straight into my skin color, family background, ethnicity, how I look like thirst-trap person that they jerk off too, etc.

Is it bad to be someone's fetish? Depends on how lonely/horny you are. Often, it's creepy. Because they don't see you as a person but rather as a object. That's just me. Maybe both parties like being each other's fetish - mutual fetishism. I dunno.

Maybe Ask your friend group/circle of people. Like when you ask women if they can spot a creep, and they point out very specific elements that separately, are meaningless. But when the creep hits all those targets, it's a sign to leave the room.

Also, it depends on a lot of things. Your party of the world might have different takes on what is creepy fetishism. And as an American, I can't speak for that side of things.

I just watched a video compiling tiktoks of kids unaware they were following meme cooking tips. Some of it was really dangerous, like permanent toxicity dangerous.

Is this strangely erotic or am I just American?

he called the leader of that successful operation a "pedo" for absolutely no reason other than his own childish idiocy.

Come on Muskrat call the CEO of Lockheed Martin a pedo

The Avengers XXX saw its DVD debut May 1, a full three days before Joss Whedon's big screen epic began smashing box office records.

Of course, without an already released source upon which to draw, that meant Braun and co-screenwriter Mark Logan had to concoct their own original story, and in so doing, they added a few things sure to please comic fans aplenty: Namely, the characters of Ms. Marvel, Sharon Carter, the Scarlet Witch, She-Hulk, Spider-Man and Spider-Woman (in a bonus scene) all join the party here,

Love it! I binged Comedy Bang Bang in 2019 and was planning on another marathon. I feel like people don't reference it enough as much as Kee and Peele, Lonely Island songs or Whitest Kids You Know and always appreciate seeing a fan

I cannot explain how disgustingly evil it is to witness the suffering of individuals, whether due to substance abuse, illness, or homelessness, and dismiss it as untruthful.

The numbers to fix homelessness may be controversial, with some sites saying it was 20 billion in 2010 and that's just to provide vouchers for a year, and some fact checking sites saying it can cost $60 billion in a year.

The primary concern is the actions of a South African billionaire, whose net worth is $350 billion. Instead of recognizing the complexities of a significant social issue, he appears to dehumanize those affected and assigns blame, rather than offering assistance.

What a fucking evil take.

FML. I read this headline and during lunch, shared it with some coworkers. One was a pregnant mom. And I'm pretty sure I unlocked a new fear.

Robert Morris, who founded and led Gateway Church for nearly 25 years in the affluent Dallas-Fort Worth suburb of Southlake, Texas, resigned after the scandal came to light in June. His exit sent thousands of evangelicals into a season of struggle that has lasted months

The church has seen a decrease of 17% to 19% in weekend services attendance, a church spokesperson told CNN.

The turnover at the church could have far-reaching effects. Gateway Church draws an estimated 100,000 people to its weekend services and has more than 560 employees at nine locations in Texas, and two others in Missouri and Wyoming, according to the church.

The rebelling against JavaScript frameworks continues. In the latest Lex Fridman interview, AI app developer Pieter Levels explained that he builds all his apps with vanilla HTML, PHP, a bit of JavaScript via jQuery, and SQLite. No fancy JavaScript frameworks, no modern programming languages, no Wasm.

“I’m seeing a revival now,” said Levels, regarding PHP. “People are getting sick of frameworks. All the JavaScript frameworks are so… what do you call it, like [un]wieldy. It takes so much work to just maintain this code, and then it updates to a new version, you need to change everything. PHP just stays the same and works.”
