My wife and I loved Escape Academy. The narrative structure made it more interesting. And the puzzles were more sillier in nature, like solving things while escaping a flood. Or trying to land a airplane.

We bounced off of Escape Simulato.

Haha bro remember that time 10 years ago when we did that thing? Man that was nice.

Haha there's a guy I hang out with at the library and I think he's great.

Wanted to invite him to a party and realized I had no way to get in touch. No name or anything.

For like a month, I've been trying to visit the library at the same exact time to see if we bump into each other.

Library stranger, I hope we meet again.

Yeah tv lied to me.

I thought I needed to have a bar where all my friends hung out, like in Cheers/Simpsons. Wrong.

I thought I needed a group of friends and we'd all take turns hooking up like Friends/Seinfeld. Wrong.

I thought having a wacky family would be great like Malcolm in the Middle/Family Matters... Okay this kinda worked out.

Seriously. Every job I had, the C-level were all about flexing the size of the company.

One Fintech company I worked at got a giant skyscraper in front of city hall as a Fuck You to the mayor because they had beef with them a few years back. Another tech company constantly bragged about how much square footage of campus they had, constantly comparing themselves to empires.

All just dick measuring.

They're franchised and every single one in a 50 mile radius is this priced.

But also, everything is just way more expensive in my city. $15-20 for a lunch is average.

Isthereanydeal.com is also down.

There are some new surprises that I found before everything went kaput.

You're not wrong at all.

Baldurs Gate 3 was a surprise success. But then again, it took them many years and many Divinity games.

Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk also are narrative darlings. But CD Projekt took a lot of chances over the years to get here.

A bunch of my favorite heavy-story games are sitting at under 2000 steam reviews. While Meme game for Twitch Streamer hits 10k-100k reviews.

I'm currently playing Shadows of Loathing right now, and I can't believe it took me this long. Next up is Beyond Shadowgate.

What a joke.

Missed opportunity to give him a muzzle.

Gonna bet CGI for his recent films and a army of Scientologists who shut down bad photos of him also helped.

As a Little Caesars fan who ordered $5 pizzas all the way up to 2021...

This was my wakeup call when everything got expensive.

Places that limit free refills only say that because people try to abuse the system and load up a gallon container.

Those places, channel your inner boomer and feigning ignorance if you're caught.

The ballot effort to increase the minimum wage for tipped workers faces a new challenge as opponents seek to disqualify signatures collected by organizers.

The Massachusetts Restaurant Association filed an objection to several signatures and petition sheets submitted to the secretary of state by the ballot campaign group, One Fair Wage. The signatures were the final hurdle for ballot organizers to get the issue in front of voters in November.

Cindy Clemishire was a 12-year-old girl who dressed in flowery pink pajamas and still liked to play with Barbie dolls.

On Christmas that year, Morris — who would go on to found Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas, and become a leading figure in the American evangelical movement — began what he would later describe as “inappropriate sexual behavior” with Clemishire while he was staying at her parents’ home in Oklahoma. Clemishire said Morris told her to come see him in his room before bed, and she was the type of girl who listened to instructions from trusted adults.

For seven years now, the city of nearly 60,000 people has reported resounding success: Not a single automobile occupant, bicyclist or pedestrian has died in a traffic crash since January 2017, elevating Hoboken as a national model for roadway safety.

While Hoboken’s plan has numerous components, including lower speed limits and staggered traffic lights, daylighting is often credited as one of the biggest reasons its fatalities have dropped to zero.

Ryan Sharp, the city’s transportation director, said when roads need to be repaved, Hoboken takes the additional step of cordoning off the street corners to widen curbs and shorten crosswalks. It’s already illegal to park at an intersection in Hoboken, but drivers often do anyway if there aren’t physical barriers.

Cross post but a great one
