Swapping github (MS) for bitbucket (Atlassian) is a completely sideways move. Atlassian will fuck you just as hard as MS will.
Not spaying and neutering can cause behavioural issues (marking territory, aggression)if the pet goes through puberty. So it's not just sterilisation.
Make up your own mind on whether that makes it ok or not though.
I dont think pedophiles was ever part of the profile. Catgirls sure, but not pedophiles.
I have trained for this

I personally have zero interest in AI search, if you mean LLM. The fact that it can make stuff up, also means it can miss stuff as well. Neither are acceptable for a search engine.
If you mean some kind of deterministic algorithm for indexing and searching, then maybe.
Also, attempting to crawl sites locally sounds like a great way to get banned from those sites for looking like a bot.
Exactly this. Company statements have zero basis in reality, they should be ignored unless they actually back them up with evidence or data.
Dont let the artist fool you, she's far more ugly and hateful in real life.
I can't wait to see speed runners cheese it and completely miss its point :/
Just to upset you, the next 2 versions are 6.8, and 9.0.
One benefit (that I have no sources for, but have seen it mentioned before), is that the USB C socket/cable setup is designed such that the cables wear out instead of the socket. The moving parts (the bendable contacts) are in the cable, so if/when they break. You throw out the cable instead of the phone.
I don't really know how it works for Lightning (Apple) cables, but presumably they have also considered this when they designed their connector. I haven't personally heard of iPhone sockets dying early, so maybe it doesn't really matter?
I have used sewing needles to get stuff out of my phone's socket, and that has been fine, but it's probably unwise. Thinning out a toothpick with a knife is probably safer, and has also worked for me.
As much as I like WAN show, it does seem a bit symptomatic of the overwork. They go until after midnight on a Friday night? And frequently they call someone who should be home?
Merch messages have metastasized it a bit. Maybe they should just prerecord it during work hours, and answer merch messages from the previous week? Would be less interactive, but most of the curated merch messages seem to be general questions anyway, rather than topic specific questions? They could still automatically show current merch messages in the banner as the video goes live?
I at least hope they are either paying Dan overtime or letting him shift his hours around.
I don't think there are any hard and fast rules for what is self hosting. Lots of people use cloudflare, which would fail both of your criteria as well.
At least with Plex/cloudflare/others, your overall control and privacy is better and more in your control than it would be with other non-self hosted alternatives.
