I believe the internet was much smaller then. It existed, but most social hadn't really begun yet. I still only had dialup.

9/11 was 2001, Facebook was 2004. So definitely a different place.

And yet, you have to pay for those molecules each time! What a scam...

Edit: this was a joke, which was misinterpreted by the OP, out of respect I have removed it.

"Testing"? The word they are looking for is "violating".

You can run an exit node on openwrt: https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/services/tor/extras

Depending on your country's laws, you may be on the hook for any content that is accessed via your network. So all the child porn, extremist content etc, thats all possibly on you.

Hacking risk is minimal, but every additional service you run on your router increases its attack surface.

Wouldn't it be more accurate to describe it as a brand new eye stimuli? There is no new color added to the spectrum, just a new way to get electrical signals to the brain?

Fun idea to throw around, but probably a terrible idea in practice. If they work out who you really are, you could find yourself jobless and blacklisted. Knowing your rights won't help much after that.

Eh, if its a dangerous job that needs to be done, they should get paid. I dont care if the ADF has to expand, or some other paid arrangement needs to be setup, but relying on volunteers is just exploitation.

And if the ADF can't spare a few trucks worth of troops, how ready will they be if NZ pops over for a "special military operation"?
